Hello!
I'm trying to have a 256-color terminal but there are no 'xterm-256color'. I installed rxvt-unicode with '256-color' useflag on and there are no 'rxvt-unicode-256color'.
There are 'xterm', 'xterm-color', 'xterm-xfree86'. I don't know the diferences between thats ones but with no one I got 256 colors terminal.
Also there are 'rxvt' and 'rxvt-unicode'.
Using 'TERM=rxvt-unicode' I got 88 color...
What am I missing?

Are the terminfo files missing from /usr/share/terminfo ?
sys-libs/ncurses provides all of them, including xterm-256color and rxvt-unicode-256color and such. Make sure it's emerged! |

I miss that. I had sys-libs/ncurses but with minimal useflag ON!!!
