I'm trying to install GNOME 3 and I'm getting a blocked packages error and I'm not quite sure about what to do. Help would be appreciated.

!!! Multiple package instances within a single package slot have been pulled
!!! into the dependency graph, resulting in a slot conflict:

dev-libs/glib:2

    >=dev-libs/glib-2.34.3:2 required by (dev-util/gdbus-codegen-2.34.3::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge)
(and 18 more with the same problem)

sys-auth/pambase:0

In my case (installing thunar-volman) I was hit by similar error and I had to move lvm2 and glib to ~arch.
