hi
Kmail
Version 1.13.7
Using KDE Development Platform 4.9.5

I have multiple accounts set up, each with their own inbox, sent mail, etc folders.

Since a recent update, Kmail now insists on putting ALL sent mail into the generic top-level sent mail folder.

If I edit the folder in settings, it appears to take it, but if I reopen the edit, then it has reverted back.

This is excessively annoying .... :-) (since separate accounts should keep their mail separate ...)

Is this a peculiarity on my system? and if so, where can I look to fix it. Have tried Google and gentoo forum searches without finding anything.

thanks, Ian

I'm seeing this as well... but have not found a way to fix it yet. I'll ask the other distro maintainers, but since kmail1 is unsupported by upstream I am not sure if we can find a fix.

look in kmail settings / identity and change the folder

I found kmail messed this up with the "upgrade" to 4.10

See my first message above ... done that numerous times but it does not stick.

Is this possibly a directory permissions issue?

thanks, Ian

sorry I missed that - have you tried adding multiple identities?
