The problem is displayed before line *emake failed.
You should probably post what is happening just before the error message

oh, duh on my part.... 48 hours of updating insanity did that.....

clearly no /usr/lib64/libgudev-1.0.ls

libtool: link: cannot find the library `/usr/lib64/libgudev-1.0.la' or unhandled argument `/usr/lib64/libgudev-1.0.la'

Hm, seems like an udev problem.
First try revdep-rebuild - probably won't help, but you never know...

Then try reinstalling or upgrading udev; is it compiled with gudev flag?

yes it has gudev useflag.... symlinking libgudev-1.0.la -> libgudev-1.0.a does NOT resolve it (i know sometimes something that simple will fix things of this sort) udev 197-r4 and r5 suffer from this problem.... i cant get my system to revert further back....

--- replaced obj /usr/lib64/libgudev-1.0.so.0.1.3
--- replaced sym /usr/lib64/libgudev-1.0.so.0
--- replaced sym /usr/lib64/libgudev-1.0.so
--- replaced obj /usr/lib64/libgudev-1.0.a

i found some documentation on the net saying that udev had removed the .la (requested) what ever thats supposed to mean..... in the mean time is breaking telepathy & gnome-control-center merges, no gnome 3.6 for me =(

now ill work on that revdep-rebuild....

 don't play with symlinks, especially that you don't understand what you really need.

Also, if after revdep-rebuild the problem persists, pastebin the whole log.

revdep-rebuild cannot complete.....

/bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib64/libgudev-1.0.la: No such file or directory
libtool: link: `/usr/lib64/libgudev-1.0.la' is not a valid libtool archive
make[3]: *** [libnetwork.la] Error 1

make: *** [all] Error 2

some goodies i found on the net
https://github.com/gentoo/eudev/pull/27/files

i realized there is a 9999 package for udev, im going to test it to see if it resolves this since someone else clearly has seen this problem before. 9999 throws errors right away.... "see bug #443030" ill mask it again

 using the live ebuild is even worse attempt at the solution - rebuild udev and pastebin full build log of telepathy-mission-control.

purging the gnome3 sounds more appealing, gnome2 is on the bbq... thanks for the thought though. 3.4 was ok on this machine. 3.6 refused to even boot. i merged xfce4 to get net back and terms.
