I can see the trailer in my mind: This summer... HOOOOOOOONK! (fade to black) Annoying Foghorn Pictures presents... HOOOOOOOONK! (fade to black) a Star Wars sequel that might actually not suck that hard because... HOOOOOOOONK! (fade to black) George Lucas won't write the script. HOOOOOOOONK! |

I wonder why they even bother. _________________ "Defeat is a state of mind. No one is ever defeated, until defeat has been accepted as a reality." -- Bruce Lee |

We knew that when they announced Disney buying the franchise. _________________ I can saw a woman in two, but you won't want to look in the box when I'm through.

it takes all kind i suppose, because i thought it was a very entertaining movie.
then again i dont give a shit about star trek's history or whatever else "trekkies" care about.
i would say given the star trek reboot, jj abrams on star wars is a good thing. i mean it almost has to be lightyears more entertaining then the prequel junk. |

The above statement is true since 1979. |

It was not a Star Trek movie.
I have a bad feeling about this. |

It rebooted the franchise successfully.
I thought it was great, but I don't echo the naysayers to be cool. |

They took the worst parts of Star Trek and made it a movie.
Fortunately I rented it for free, so I didn't contribute. Sadly, it'll be the last new Trek thing I watch as long as this guy has control of the franchise. I ought to obtain Enterprise, ToS, TNG & DS9. _________________ I can saw a woman in two, but you won't want to look in the box when I'm through.
