Adobe almost does something amazing by accident

It seemed like an intriguing deal. An old version of Adobe Creative Suite—the 2005 vintage CS2, to be precise—became freely downloadable from Adobe, with nothing more than a free-to-create Adobe ID required from users. Although basically useless for Mac users, as CS2 is only available for PowerPC, for Windows users this is a powerful, if not quite cutting edge, suite of graphics apps.

I've downloaded several, but no idea if I'll ever use them since they require Win/Mac. I was thinking of trying WINE.

like many other windows apps this also might say something wrong and to report to wine hq.
may be some of dll files are special for windows

adobe illustrator installed with wine correctly.
hope the quicktime player will install[which is needed by illustrator
license key given by adobe works fine.

I remember having used CS2. At that time I didn't have a fast computer and I thought CS2 was crap.

Yeah, I had the complete suite. But my opinion of it was based on how much computer you needed to run it on.

Ah, OK.

Photoshop is about the only thing I'm truly interested in. I also downloaded the audio app, and one or two others just to check out. I'll probably download them all eventually.
