Hi,
Since a few month, kernel modules no longer autoload.
In particular, when I plug an external usb audio card, or usb wifi card (even the internal wifi card), I still have to manually load the associated kernel module.
This is a new behaviour, as everything automatically loaded before.
I don't where to start debugging, so any help to restore automatic module loading would be much appreciated.
I'm running gentoo ~amd64 and udev.
Thanks! |

Waou, nice guess !!
Indeed. Sounds like kmod is enabled by default now, so a simple emerge udev fixed the problem...
