i've just updated the xfce4 terminal from 0.4.8 to 0.6.0. for some reason there is a new ebuild with a new name (x11-terms/xfce4-terminal). this version won't use my color settings anymore. i there a new place for the configuration file instead of "~/.config/Terminal/terminalrc" or is there a new way to set up colors in that file?

thanks, its not really what i am looking for. the terminal runs fine. the only thing i can't get to work is the stuff within my custom config file. beside the colors (mostly fixed with the terminal settings dialog), i can't get other custom settings like custom shortcuts to work. where does the new version read its configuration from?

even if i don't know if the config file is used or not, i've figured out how to get back most of my configuration:

i've edited the colors by hand with the preferences dialog and for the custom shortcuts you have to use the gtk+ way. version 0.6.0 and above won't have shortcut option within the terminal preferences dialog.

this helped allot: http://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?id=7715
