Hi,
ever since I upgraded to kernel 3.6 (from kernel 3.4), and recently from 3.6 to 3.7, I have been unable to mount any SD cards (or CompactFlash etc.). This happens in both my built-in Ricoh card reader and my externel USB multi-card reader. It makes no sense to me? The kernel reports the device, but no device node is created. Neither /dev/sdb nor /dev/mmc-something appear. Does anyone know what I have to do?

Do you have the probe all Lun option activated in the kernel ?
device/SCSI/probe all LUN

Nothing at all. As if the device wasn't even active. And the external USB device doesn't register the cards either. But it worked in kernel 3.4 -> That's how I know it's not a hardware defect... And the cards work fine in 2 different cameras.

No, nothing. I have tried these before, because I know how important it is to report error messages in order to find a solution, but here I'm at a loss.  Has the SDHCI kernel option been connected to something new that I need to activate since 3.4?
