hi,
when pressing tab twice to list contents of a dir results are not colorized like ls. How to have colorized results with pressing tab twice?

zsh and bash, none colorize tabbed listing. |

zsh can be configured to colorize TAB completion. However, as (unfortunately) for most zsh features this is not enabled by default. You have to call something like
Code: | zstyle ':completion:*' list-colors ${(s.:.)LS_COLORS} |
(maybe this alone is not sufficient - it might be that you also have to activate some other options to make it work; I have so many activation options concerning completion in my zshrc that I forgot what is what...) |
