How can a avoid auto-cleaning of /var/tmp/portage if a test case fails - given these settings : FEATURES="parallel-fetch compress-build-logs test test-fail-continue" ? back ground : I'd like to install a packages nevertheless, but sometimes the files are necessary for a bug report, eg. for Code: | ERROR: test
ERROR: sys-devel/make-3.82-r4 failed (test phase):
Make check failed. See above for details.

The only 2 other features available are "keepwork" and "noclean".
Keepwork is to enable fixing/creating patches in the live workdir
noclean is what your really after, but for what you want, you would need to enable it on the command line for a one time shot to re-emerge the failed package. Or you would have to manually clean out portage's temp dir. _________________ Brian
