I've been trying to load a custom DSDT into Grub2. By following suggestions on different sites, and also performing this with success on other distros, I've run into a block. When trying to get grub2 to pick up a custom DSDT, I added a file named 01_acpi into /etc/grub.d/ and tried to run update-grub2. This worked on other distros, but now I'm getting a "command not found".

Is there another way to get the DSDT file added at boot? I'm trying to fix a battery missing condition on a Toshiba Laptop.ar

New Update:
Partially fixed issue. I ended up compiling new dsdt file into the kernel so my laptop now finds the battery. I no longer need to load the fixed dsdt into grub2, but would like to know if this is an option?? Also, I do not yet have a command: update-grub2.

I did try that and it built the correct menu, it just ignored my 01_acpi script. I must have something wrong in the script. I did bring is over from another OS, but thought I could get if modified for Gentoo. I'll keep working on it and see what I can do. I need the practice in scripts anyway....

Thanks, and I'll mark as Solved since I have the battery working now. If I run into script problems, I'll move to a different section.
