Hi, ALL,
I'm currently running GNOME2.32.1 with GTK+.
What I need to do is to make a little movie of what will be going on on my desktop/screen What is the best possible option?
1. I can use my Android phone camera to make the movie, then push it to the machine or directly upload to the web.
2. I can install some software which will make this easier.
With option 1 most likely I will loose precision and the screen as I already tried to make a photograph and it didn't work pretty well.
With option 2, I just don't what to use? There are movie player and flash player but they are players not recorders. There is "Cheese" but I think it's for an external camera. What are my choices for the task I need? I prefer something on the GTK+/GNOME side.
Thank you.

While I haven't used it myself, there's media-video/recordmydesktop (+ its gtk/qt gui) that might at least be a good point of reference. |
