After running Code: | emerge -uNDva world | I did and then which ended up failing to emerge one package with error econf failed.

Also, since this is a configure failure, pastebin the config.log, so that we can see exactly what error caused configure to abort. The build log can tell us what test failed, but may not tell us how the test failed. |
