I don't seem to be able to edit any system settings included in the
kde policy editor. After a fun time trying to authorize myself to mount a usb stick,
I realized that the kde settings part needs a "root mode" of some kind, like some
other system settings have.
Instead I had to go edit the nest of incomprehensible xml files that these settings interact with,
using a root shell and good old vi. Hooray for progress!
Cheers,
Jon. |
