hi,

thank you for your reply, but wgetpaste failed, and manually pasting the log to bpaste.net did not work either. It says "Error While Pasting,Could not submit your paste because your paste contains spam.Please fill out the CAPTCHA to proceed:" and i was not able to see the captcha in Internet Explorer or Opera.

In pastebin.com i could see the captcha and here are the links:

Build log: http://pastebin.com/rj0xCxrH
Build Environment: http://pastebin.com/uFGm8ciS
And my emerge output at last: http://pastebin.com/9s9G5pxJ

i hope now its enough information :)
It says something in the build log about this: (i hope you don't need to read the logs with this)
Code:

window.o -lXext -lXinerama -lXext -lXrender -lXrandr -lSM -lICE -lglib-2.0   -lSM -lICE  -lX11 -lXcursor   -lstartup-notification-1   -lxml2     obrender/libobrender.la obt/libobt.la

/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.5.4/../../../../lib64/libstartup-notification-1.so: undefined reference to `xcb_aux_get_screen'

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

make[1]: *** [openbox/openbox] Error 1

make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/x11-wm/openbox-3.5.0_p20111019/work'

make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

emake failed

Thanks very much!

kugel,

That's strange because it worked for me :?

Code:
stable bill # locate libstartup-notification
/usr/lib64/libstartup-notification-1.so
/usr/lib64/libstartup-notification-1.so.0
/usr/lib64/libstartup-notification-1.so.0.0.0
/usr/lib64/pkgconfig/libstartup-notification-1.0.pc
stable bill # equery b /usr/lib64/libstartup-notification-1.so
 * Searching for /usr/lib64/libstartup-notification-1.so ...
x11-libs/startup-notification-0.12 (/usr/lib64/libstartup-notification-1.so -> libstartup-notification-1.so.0.0.0)
x11-libs/startup-notification-0.12 (/usr/lib64/libstartup-notification-1.so.0.0.0)
stable bill # wgetpaste /etc/portage/package.use
Your paste can be seen here: http://bpaste.net/show/59218/
stable bill #

In any event your problem appears to be related to a missing libstartup-notification-1.so file so try revdep-rebuild first. If that doesn't work then emerge x11-libs/startup-notification

Hi,

i think it failed because of the spam detection on bpaste.net.
Now its working, just emerged startup-notifiaction manually and everything worked like a charm!

Thank you very much
