Albeit with the option --no-pipe (N) it is little more consistent. (Though I can't understand nopipe-like options, in the end, because of no result)

I don't know anything about wgetpaste. I would try sending the output to a file, then uploading the file.

As to all the "failures", 'equery -check' compares the files on disk to the ebuild's manifest. If the file has changed at all, it's going to show it as an exception. Many configuration files will show up, because they are likely to be different than the 'starter' config file provided by the package. Other files may contain data which has been modified.

Just taking a cursory glance at your output, they seem to be harmless. This isn't a particularly useful utility, other than for troubleshooting a problem. For each exception, you must ask yourself whether there is a valid reason why the change has occurred.

Those errors are outputted to stderr which isn't picked up by wgetpaste by default. You need to redirect them to stdout if you want them to be included in the wgetpaste output:
