Hi,

i'm using ip4. Normally samba will show logs for each ip, which works ok. For some reason i have file logs showing me files like:
log.0985ed6d654248 . The log shows accessing data etc.

1)So, what's that number? is that ip6? Is it possible since i'm using only ip4 everywhere?
2) i have configured iptables only for ip4. I assume that using ip6 will pass straight through, without being dropped?. If so, how do i drop all ip6 ?

Pls advise.

thank you.
