Hello,
I've installed EVE according to the guide on the Wine AppDB but I just can't get EVE to start. After running eve.bash I get the update screen and click Play when it's available, then the loading splash pops up but nothing happens after it disappears.
In Terminal I have the following:

Code:
desktop jordan # eve.bash
fixme:heap:HeapSetInformation (nil) 1 (nil) 0
fixme:gameux:GameExplorerImpl_VerifyAccess (0x117738, L"C:\\Program Files\\CCP\\EVE\\eve.exe", 0x33fd98)
16:21:41: Debug: src/helpers.cpp(140): 'CreateActCtx' failed with error 0x00000103 (no more data available.).
err:secur32:SECUR32_initSchannelSP TLS library not found, SSL connections will fail
err:winediag:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated. Make sure that ntlm_auth >= 3.0.25 is in your path. Usually, you can find it in the winbind package of your distribution.
fixme:iphlpapi:NotifyAddrChange (Handle 0x33cfd0, overlapped 0x3d6b058): stub
fixme:winsock:WSALookupServiceBeginW (0x33d030 0x00000ff0 0x33d020) Stub!
[1018/162141:ERROR:network_change_notifier_win.cc(111)] WSALookupServiceBegin failed with: 8
fixme:heap:HeapSetInformation (nil) 1 (nil) 0
fixme:heap:HeapSetInformation 0x48b000 0 0x33f31c 4
Network layer using: CarbonIO
Terminating process by request - returning 0desktop jordan #

Any ideas?

After doing a bit of searching around on the EVE forums, it looks like EVE does not work with the stable version of Wine in Portage. After upgrading Wine to the latest version, EVE works as described in the AppDB.
