I recently picked up a Logitech G510, a Razer Lycosa keyboard and three beers for relatively cheap. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck getting the LCD working on the G510. I have installed the libg15 programs from portage, but their forum activity looks a bit... dated... I have yet to find any new or relevant information yet. |

Old thread...
I have this same keyboard. i found this. http://www.gnome15.org/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=4&id=635&Itemid=7
Ideal if you're a gnome user which i'm not, but i used his libg15-9999.ebuild https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=414657
While not entirely sure if i needed it, at least its partially working for now.
I've got green leds and a clock on my lcd.
Media keys stopped working but everything else looks like its working properly. i'll post an updae if i manage to get this stuff working, also if anyone happens to have the keyboard and know how to get it properly working any input would be nice.
In my journey to making linux (or gentoo) work 100% extra keyboard features are my final step. at least related to hardware and basic functions. _________________ This picture was my biggest reason for ever trying Gentoo <3 |
