Hi All
I by mistake removed kdelibs because I was having problems installing kdelibs 4.8.5 - how do i restore kdelibs 4.4 as there is no kdelibs4.8.4 available anymore.
Thanks

Never would I even think of going back from KDE 4.9.2 - what makes you want that? _________________ backend.cpp:92:2: warning: #warning TODO - this error message is about as useful as a cooling unit in the arctic |

Do you understand overlays? If so, then this explanation should make sense to you. You can retrieve the ebuild for the version of kdelibs you want from the attic and put it in your local overlay. Then it should be available to build with a standard emerge command.
As genstorm has alluded to, your system is seriously out of date. Expect other problems to work through because of that.

Okay, so you don't understand overlays.
Let's hold this thought for a moment. I've responded to your other thread.
