i'm having this problem where i can't possibly get my configs to reset, and by that i mean i tried running make defconfig, i tried deleting the .config file, and i even tried unmerging then emerging the sources again... but my options don't reset, why i need to do this? i have one of those new model creative SB cards, and i've made them work once, that one time i made it work i did not mess with the default sound driver options, i must have messed them up this install so, i need to reset it, and just edit all my options in again leaving the sound options untouched hoping it'll work, after that i can just edit out some individual things that i don't want to have in there.
but right now i need the default configuration. how do i get it back? _________________ This picture was my biggest reason for ever trying Gentoo <3 |

Moved from Installing Gentoo to Duplicate Threads.
Looks lik finger trouble while the forums were having issues. _________________ Regards,
