Hello,
I wasn't sure if this belongs in Kernel & Hardware or Multimedia. Hopefully this is the right place.
Anyway, I got sound working on my new Gigabyte mobo with ALSA and the headphone jack on the front of the case also works (tested with earbuds). However, I usually use my Logitech USB headset http://www.logitech.com/en-us/webcam-communications/internet-headsets-phones/stereo-headset-h390 for sound and for gaming.
So I installed the snd_usb_audio as per instructions of some guide, but now, when I boot with my headset plugged in, udev hangs for about 10 minutes and then throws a weird error and ALSA is then bugged (can't run alsamixer or alsaconf, sound doesn't work). If I wait until after boot, sound works as usual but not for the headset. I've tried running alsaconf with the headset plugged in and detected but it doesn't work.
The following info is taken after normal boot and plugging in USB headset after login:
lsmod:
http://bpaste.net/show/43835/
Note: I ran lsmod without wgetpaste two seconds before this and it said that snd_usb_audio was being used...
lsusb:
http://bpaste.net/show/43837/
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa.conf:
ttp://bpaste.net/show/43838/
If more info is needed just let me know.
Any help is greatly appreciated. |
