Hello,

I need to install a masked version of ppp.
http://packages.gentoo.org/search/?sstring=Point-to-point+protocol

Problem is even after I

ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge -p ppp

I still get the latest unmasked one!
I need 2.4.2_beta3

Is this the version you're trying to install?

From /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask wrote:

If so, it's what they call "hard masked". You'll need to comment out the above line to be able to emerge the package.
