hey - I can't reply to your post for some reason.

anyway did you do an md5sums on your iso image to make sure it's not corrupt?

you can still boot to 1.1a cd and use 1.2 stage tarballs. you might wanna try that too

it's bugging me.

the iso has a

ISOLINUX dir and the tars
does the contents of ISOLINUX need to be in root to boot?
