Here's the Deal: Don't Touch Me, Howie Mandel.
He opens with a story about being "outed" on Howard Stern. Pretty funny, horrifying and intriguing at the same time. At six bucks, easy choice. $12 for the ebook, never would have bought it. _________________ I can saw a woman in two, but you won't want to look in the box when I'm through.

Been ploughing through the Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy, just on Mostly Harmless.
Probably just me, since most seem to enthuse about these books, but I can't see the point. Which
is odd, since I rather like Pratchett.
Still one thing with the Kindle, with the amount of stuff that I've picked up whilst on special offer I have
choice in what to read next. _________________ Like the Roman, I seem to see "the River Tiber foaming with much blood" |

That I can get new hardcover for <$10on the discount shelf and <=$4 used, I've found the prospect of paying $15 for an ebook a non-starter. _________________ I can saw a woman in two, but you won't want to look in the box when I'm through.

Aside from the freebies, Amazon (UK) normally have a sale on around Christmas/Easter. I stocked up a few titles for 99p, which
I'm hacking through.
Random selection, some science, history - odds and ends (Run! was pretty good). Looking at 'Empire of the Summer Moon', next.
Wouldn't pay full price for an ebook mind, even with DRM removed _________________ Like the Roman, I seem to see "the River Tiber foaming with much blood" |

Cool. I'll have to keep that in mind. I recently bought about 20 used paperbacks, so I've got some time. _________________ I can saw a woman in two, but you won't want to look in the box when I'm through.

I've been rereading the Animorphs series by K.A. Applegate recently, and am on book 41 ("The Familiar"). _________________ ~~ Peter: Programmer, Mathematician, STEM & Free Software Advocate, Enlightened Agent, Transhumanist, Fedora contributor

Charles Dickens - A Tale Of Two Cities.
I'm usually a non fiction guy, but felt like reading like old school literature. |

Also, Legacies, F. Paul Wilson. Decided to take a break from non-fiction. _________________ I can saw a woman in two, but you won't want to look in the box when I'm through.

I can see the humour in places, it's just that the plot seemed to be almost an afterthought. I don't know - it's me _________________ Like the Roman, I seem to see "the River Tiber foaming with much blood" |

I just finished reading the beginning which is mostly definitions and history. Right now I'm in the section that defines various types of coupling. _________________ Ware wa mutekinari.

F. Paul Wilson - Deep As The Marrow
Gotta say, not getting into it. Haven't read too much of it yet.
I had no idea what it was about back then. But I don't understand the problem about a book that inspires women to get their kink on. _________________ I can saw a woman in two, but you won't want to look in the box when I'm through.
