CUPS printing problems (JetDirect & v 1.1.15

Okay I've gotten cups to semi work in RAW mode with my JetDirect 300X print server and my HP Deskjet 855. However in RAW mode the text is all garbled.

I read in another post that a person had problems with the newest CUPS and JetDirect. He downgraded back to version 1.1.14-r4 and everythign worked fine.

My problem is when I try to do an 'emerge -p net-print/cups-1.1.14-r4' it says it can't find it. However when I do 'qpkg -i cups' it lists a net-print/cups-1.1.14-r4 right there.

What gives, can someone help me roll back to the later version of cups or help me get the newest one working.

I have done an emerge unmerge cups and then reemerged cups with this.

Thanks meyerm that was exactly the command I was needing. Sorry about the nOObie question, not use to the emerbe/portage system yet.

Now to see if this will let me work with my JetDirect box correctly!!!
