I'm new to Gentoo. I've been using CentOS and Ubuntu where installing is easy via yum or apt-get. Can someone please help me and give me step by step instruction on how to install ffmpeg, ffmpeg-php and commonly used codecs in Gentoo with Apache. I'm in urgent need of this help..... Please someone help me |

Not the best way to get help...
I don't see how harder it would be in gentoo than other distros.
Just emerge ffmpeg and emerge ffmpeg-php. _________________ Arkhelion |

Edit the useflags (there are a lot of them) following gentoo documentation: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=2&chap=2#doc_chap1
and finally:
