I got a problem with the fullscreen mode of Xine in Gnome2.
If I switch to fullscreen, xine just resizes to the borders of the panels (i got 2, one top and one bottom). So I got the panels in my view during the movie, which is pretty annoying. Running xine in fullscreen in IceWM works fine though, fullscreen overlaps the panels, too.
I didn't have this problem before, but I switched to gcc 3.2 (I don't think it has anything to do with gcc 3.2 directly, just with the whole recompiling process ...) lately, and since then it doesn't work. Does anyone know what to do? |

This is actually a caused by a bug in the 2.4.0 release of the the window manager "metacity", which is now the gnome default and would have been upgraded during the gcc 3.2. I can't test this at the moment, but I would recommend trying to emerge an older version of metacity. Also, metacity 2.4.0 moves its theme directory to the proper spot so if you install custom themes you may need to update some links |
