I would like to have blender installed on my system.
But as soon as i am trying to install with the command (emerge blender) then it fails with the following message:

Same here, revdep-rebuilding blender failed, what was the solution ?

Disable jpeg2k USE flag for blender and then report a bug on bugzilla.

But there is no jpeg2k flag for blender 2.49b.

I have the same problem on AMD64. No solution, yet.

I now have blender compiled on my system. I used the unstable 2.60a package which has a jpeg2k use flag and disabled said flag. After that it worked.
