Guten Abend,
manchmal muss ich zum besseren Verständnis einen Blick in den Code werfen. Ein Beispiel war die Ausschalt-Routine von XBMC, wo ich rausgefunden hab, dass die nur mit Consolekit/Polkit funktioniert.
grep, find und vim sind da gute Helfer, um erste Dinge zu entdecken. Um aber dann im Code zu browsen, dabei die Deklarationen, Definitionen und Referenzen bestimmter Objekte zu finden, ist eine IDE manchmal ganz nützlich.
Jetzt nehmen wir mal an, ich will irgendein Programm, was im Portage enthalten ist, als Projekt in einer der genannten IDEs laden. Nehmen wir uns mal mpd her, da ich dort grad den Grund such, warum meine Soundausgabe konvertiert wird, anstatt die Originalkodierung an die Soundkarte weiterzugeben.
Kdevelop
Projekt -> Projekt öffnen/importieren -> Filter: Makefiles (...) -> /var/tmp/portage/media-sound/mpd-0.16.6/work/mpd-0.16.6 -> Makefile.in -> weiter -> Projektverwaltung mit eigenem Makefile -> Fertig
Codeblocks
???
Wenn ich in Codeblocks das Makefile laden will, öffnet er das mit dem Firefox (ist vermutlich irgendwo in meiner Systemkonfiguration so einstellt). Importieren kann man Projekte nur aus Dev-C++ und MSVisual C++. Bekommt man das irgendwie hin, die Source-Dateien als Projekt in Codeblocks zu laden? |

Mit Codeblocks musst du wohl ein neues Projekt anlegen, dann in den Properties das Häkchen bei "Custom Makefile" anmachen - und hoffen, dass er es auch findet :/
Ich habe das Gefühl, Codeblocks kommt nur mit dem eigenen codeblocks-Projektfile gut klar, importieren hat nie wirklich geklappt. Ich mach selber recht viel mit CMake, und das war mit CodeBlocks auch nicht so der Brüller
Da ich eh kde am Laufen habe, ist kdevelop installiert, und für so ziemlich alles das Mittel der Wahl - Problemloser import der meisten Projekte inklusive.
Also, wenn kdevelop funktioniert, dann nimm es doch einfach |

Die Begründung, warum man in Code::Blocks keine makefiles importieren kann ist, dass es viel zu viel "Makefile Magic" gibt um da auch nur einen halbwegs passablen Importer zu bauen. (http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php/topic,13333.0.html)
Allerdings, wenn du da auf ein "Makefile.in" verweist, ist das ein Autotools Projekt? Dafür gäbs sonst in Eclipse-CDT support...
