Well, the two error lines from WINE rather look to me as if your card is not detected correctly.
If the function names are speaking then your graphic adapter is not recognized in the first place (guess_card_vendor).
...
fixme:d3d_caps:wined3d_guess_card_vendor Received unrecognized GL_VENDOR "X.Org". Returning HW_VENDOR_NVIDIA.
fixme:d3d_caps:select_card_nvidia_mesa Card selection not handled for Mesa Nouveau driver
...
The GL_VENDOR reported (= usually graphic adapter vendor) seems to be X.Org.
Is your 3D acceleration working at all ? Did you try glxgears or one of the free 3D FPS (OpenArena, Alien Arena, Nexuiz) ?
Did you install the opensource drivers (radeon) or the propritary driver (fglrx) ?
My educated guess:
Your system currently has no working 3D acceleration at all. Thus WINE is crashing.
Try to run the following in a X Terminal:
glxinfo | grep OpenGL
and post the output in this thread.
Edit: You might also consider this:

Use opensource driver. 3D work fine.
glxinfo G OpenGL:
Code: | OpenGL vendor string: X.Org
OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on AMD REDWOOD
OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 7.11.2
OpenGL shading language version string: 1.20

@Gordio:
Is this Core_2_Duo with a different name ?
If so: The open-source Radeon might not sufficient to run WoW in D3D mode. Although I had no issues running UT2k4 under archlinux back then with my ATI HD4670 under WINE, I am still not shure how well WoW deals with WINE in combination with the radeon driver. You might want to try out enforcing WoW in OpenGL mode. IIRC the parameter was -opengl |

@Gordio:
Highjacking another thread is not nice
From Wines AppDB I would conclude that Worlds of Tanks is not easy to set up even when using the propritary ATI driver (fglrx).
Good luck ! |
