|
|
Hi,
I am running gentoo on my desktop at home so I don't mind if it breaks
What are the "best" opimisation settings for compiling new software (if setting x produces 2% more performance then setting y but takes 5 times as long to run then x probably isn't better then y )
What settings do "the general public" use?
Cheers

You might want to look here for information on compiler flags. |
