I just emerged Eterm, and while gcc was going through its santiy checks and such, I noticed this little line.

checking for life_signs in -lKenny... no
  Oh my god, they killed Kenny!  You bastards!

Looks like I found an easter egg! I'll be watching those compiles a little more closely now. :wink:

Just thought I'd share.

Cool. Wonder if some1 would make a script to look at only ocnfigure lines.

While it's not exactly the same thing, some library names are chosen with half a mind as to how they will appear as -lwhatever in linker lines. Examples: libiberty, libewd.
