The problem is using nvidia-xconfig, which is an outdated tool. All you need in your xorg.conf is four lines: Code: |
Section "Device"
Identifier "Nvidia Card"
Driver "nvidia"
EndSection |

omelius,
Your config effectively told Xorg to ignore the mouse and keyboard. Removing the sections that did that and the things that refered to those sections allowed it to work as intended with udev detectingand driving your input devices.
As Gusar says, you only need a device section to tell Xorg about the binary blob driver.
If you are not in the USA, you will probably hate the default keymap. That can be fixed in xorg.conf too. _________________ Regards,
