I'm using wine 1.2.3.
Do you think I have a missing flag or do you have any idea about how to fix this problem ?

I somehow lost sound on wine-1.2.3 some weeks ago. My solution was to update to the ~arch 1.3.24 version. |

Number "USE" flags is too small. Where is others? |

|
|
I had a similar problem, where a wine upgrade suddenly wouldn't play any audio.
I ran winecfg, and under the Audio tab tried to Test Sound. It failed, and in the terminal where I ran winecfg, I had the message: Code: | err:ole:COMPOBJ_DllList_Add couldn't load in-process dll L"c:\\windows\\system32\\mmdevapi.dll"
| .
I recalled needing the mmdevapi.dll for some old game or another, so I went under the Libraries tab of winecfg, and removed it from the "Existing Overrides" section. After that, my sound test worked, and so did sound in whatever game I wanted to play it in.
Perhaps you have a similar problem, or perhaps the output of winecfg in the terminal will give you some clues. |

Recent wine versions have broken PulseAudio implementations, and even the ALSA emulation module doesn't work. You have to downgrade or change your audio stack to pure ALSA. |

@alex:
Code: |
ALSA_MixerInit No master control found on TerraTec Phase88, disabling mixer
|
seems to imply that something is wacky with your ALSA setup. What is your audio driver/device? Is there a master control shown when you run alsamixer? Can you use native linux audio apps at all? |
