I searched the forums and google, and did a locate qtella to no avail. Any idea what i do to execute qtella? Typing "qtella" doesn't work.

Still no luck. I tried updatedb and locate qtella and only got:

okay after looking around it seems that it emerges, but never installs. Anyone else having this problem? Maybe I should countribute a bug report?

Make sure you have kde-env emerged, log out and relogin to get the update environment, emerge -C qtella and emerge qtella again.
qtella should go into /usr/bin. It crashes for me on startup but it is understandable (I'm using qt-3.0.5 and kde3.1alpha1).
