openoffice language

i was emerging openoffice 1.03 and now 1.1beta2, but they#e both in english. how can i emerge them in german? the same is with k3b, it's only english!

I have emerged openoffice the english version and it is running ....

Now i've read this thread and was wondering if i have to unmerge the english version of openoffice before i can do this "LANGUAGE=49 emerge openoffice" ??
