Just like other days I started my ultra60 this afternoon. Normally it gets an ip address of my router and I can enoy internet. Never had any problems with that.
But, today net.eth0 did not want to start on my ultra60. It keeps complaining "eth0 is not plugged in or has no carrier signal".
Well, the happy meal 10/100Mbit is on board so it's plugged in. No carrier..Í'm not quit sure what that is supposed to mean but my switch indicates a signal.
ifconfig tells me my loopback is working. dmesg | grep eth0 tells me my network card is found. Yesterday it was still working. I did not change any config file as far as I recall.
So, I'm quit without a clue. |

it's a baselayout problem. Non of the patches provided on bugzilla is doning the job. A simple 'dhcpcd eth0' does the job. |
