Installing Gentoo and reading form handbook

1.What are the correct cflags for me? some examples? are these good to go? --> CFLAGS="-O2 -march=i686 -pipe" v6i CFLAGS="-O2 -march=core2 -pipe" v6i CFLAGS="-O2 -mtune=core2 -pipe"
I have read the manual but I don't "digg" about these cflags.... Please don't suggest me "default" settings
I want my gentoo to be stable and fast

Sorry for bad English, hope you understand and can help me out with this CFLAGS

this basically already suggests 'default' flags.

Code:
CFLAGS="-march=native -O2 -pipe"

should do the trick.


You might want to consider 64-bit - thus an amd64 installation. But on the other hand 3GB ram is a border case...
