Hi
As far as I understand, there exists a postgres sdbc driver for connections between OpenOffice base and the postgresql server.
Is this driver available in portage or how to get this driver?
Or do you suggest alternative solutions?

geki,
Could you please flesh out a little more what needs to be done to make sdbc work? I have added your overlay, but I'm not sure exactly how to modify the ebuild or files without them being overwritten, or causing problems with checksums or whatever. I've noticed that the postgresql-sdbc functionality is usually separated into its own package in other distros. Is that something that could be done here too? A separate ebuild could build the plugin until it becomes officially integrated into upstream's source tree?
Thanks! |

p.s.: I still wonder if they apply. . . . reports? _________________ hear hear |

hmm, I could add 'epatch_user' to src_prepare if you guys prefer.
so that you can put your patches under /etc/portage/cat/pkg/ or so ... even simpler ... going to add that.

so, if you know how to add additional patches to firefox and the like you are set. otherwise ... google? _________________ hear hear |
