I miss the old format of the package database.

Hi all,

I believe the package database was organised into kind-of subject/package. The sorting was not aloways very lucky, but it helps. That was very nice for the linux newbie that I am.

I understand the benefit of the new format from a developper point of view, but
how do you want a newbie to find his way in this?

Any chances we get the old format back ???

errr.... sorry to disagree but the database is more logic this way.. for anybody.... you want a mail client go to net-mail and choose... that simple.
