I'm having a bit of a frustrating problem taking screenshots. I've tried all the different methods (import, gimp, xv) and I cant seem to get any multimedia apps to show their video in the screenshot i.e. this.
I can't figure out if this is a nvidia driver problem with X, a permissions problem, or something completely different. BTW, there was a movie playing in that xine window when i took the screenshot. Any ideas? _________________ Sometimes nothin' is a pretty cool hand.

if xine uses the Xvideo extension, you are out of luck with screenshots ... (but Xvideo is likely needed for good movie perfomance)
This is bc Xv can do parts of the video decoding process like colorspace convertion or scaling ... |

I'm using KSnapshot, it gets the job done perfectly.

How about "xwd --root -out test.xwd"? |
