I'm sorry if this is annoying, but I'm really on my last line here. I'm just wondering if I'm not making proper threads/replies, or this forum really just is that vacant apart from a number of lurkers. I guess Gentoo isn't the most popular distro out there anyway...

If it's a question for Gnome or KDE, I don't even look at it :?

Most of the threads I see in the forums tend to be Gnome or KDE issues.

Something's going on. Login is random. It logs me out randomly. Posting isn't linear, and parts of certain user's profiles have gone missing (like their avatar).

Yeah, it won't let me log in. When I try to post, I can log in, but then it forgets that I've logged in and makes me log in again. I managed to get this post out and also one in Desktops subforum. Really annoying.

Posting leads to "the thread doesn't exist", clicking on the threads often has the same effect, reloading seems to randomize...

Someone gave phpbb some LSD and didn't share with the rest of us

I'm getting load of weirdness :

Code:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/forums.gentoo.org/htdocs/viewtopic.php on line 1006

Along with assorted errors at the top of each page. Mashing refresh several times makes it go away.

These problems should now be fixed, please post here if you spot any more weirdness.

Could be a cache issue. I've been refreshing like crazy without any issues.

I believe it is. I was still having some weirdness about 15 minutes ago but it seems to have gone with some multiple refresh. All seems fine now, for me at least.

One thing I am still having - in chromium going to "View your post" (after I am logged in) gives

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

It works fine, however, in firefox.
That may be just related to chromium update to www-client/chromium-5.0.375.99, but I don't remember seeing it in the first days after update

Ah, clearing cache has helped !

I read the announcement and I have a question. How are the forums' hardware configured? In my mind, I had expected them to be on a single server running PHP and MySQL.

We have two Apache/PHP front-end servers with two MySQL back-ends.
