I'm upgrading my system one one of the package failed:

It seems to me anything pertaining xfce4 is failing, I tired emerge --skipfirst --resume and next package fail as well:

looks like you got bit by the libpng upgrade problems.

I used libpng-1.4.x-update.sh and then lafilefixer --justfixit, and that fixed it.
libpng is my worst enemy with Gentoo builds.
libpng-1.4.x-update.sh should be called after the libpng is compiled in the build scripts.
And lafilefixer should be part of the revdep-rebuild command, or a new command that does library fixes with both lafilefixer, revdep-rebuild, and any other library fix commands.
