The lower taxes and decreased regulation party. Isn't that the crux of all of the problems in the UK? Taxes and stupid regulations? _________________ Chemtrails don't actually exist.

Well you can choose not to vote, sends pretty much the same signal as a vote for the BNP, i.e. shock horror - look at this must do something ...
Then everything settles back down to normality.
Either that or stage a Spartacus style uprising. I really don't have the knees for that either. _________________ Like the Roman, I seem to see "the River Tiber foaming with much blood" |

Pretty much so and the fact that we're not masters of our own ship (EU) and have an incredibly weak immigration policy. _________________ Like the Roman, I seem to see "the River Tiber foaming with much blood" |

Very similar problems here in the USA. Replace EU with UN & any 3rd world dictator our president wants to suck up to. _________________ Chemtrails don't actually exist.

What part of "hating regulations" makes you leap to the assumption that either one of us would want a larger government? _________________ Chemtrails don't actually exist.

You keep confusing those who want less government with those who support massive government. _________________ Chemtrails don't actually exist.

No. Make a scale from absolute government power to minimal government power, and you'll find National Socialism & Socialism being rather close. Beyond left right, the scale of statism -v- liberty clearly shows the difference between those who love liberty and those who want control. _________________ Chemtrails don't actually exist.

How can you even try to deny that the difference between tyranny and liberty is valid? The "la la la la I can't hear you" defense won't work, just think about it. _________________ Chemtrails don't actually exist.

They vote to repress others. They vote to take stuff away from one group and give it to themselves. That is tyranny whether you want to admit it or not. _________________ Chemtrails don't actually exist.

And there was me thinking it was about building up a strong country, stopping rampant inflation and war repatriations! Who to vote for, who to vote for...
Conservatives fucked over small businesses royally!
Labour have successfully screwed over large businesses
My local MP is labour but she is standing down this year so nice fresh candidates.
*IF* she was staying in I might have voted for her because on the whole she is/was a great PM for the area (I don't agree with her pro-ban on foxhunting or her wanting to scrap the tridant project completely) so in a way I don't have the problem of "vote for your local MP" when it comes to the parliamentary system.
Now I /really/ want to get labour out, they have messed up on a mamouth level but that pretty much leave voting tory since if there is a hung parliament then gg Britain... _________________ The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter

I was reading in the Economist that the Grens stood a chance in Brighton this year. Seems like the logical choice to me. I really don't think Cameron is qualified to run a country. MY impression is that world leaders all look down on him whenever he tries to visit them.
Quote: |
Barack Obama's meeting with Tory leader David Cameron in London earlier this year left the Democratic nominee "distinctly unimpressed", it has been claimed.
According to diplomatic sources Mr Obama, now the president-elect of the United States, emerged from the meeting in July with the words: "What a lightweight." |

Labour and the Conservatives look exactly the same. I'm not going to vote for either. Neither has done enough for my vote.
So who do I have...
Liberal Democrats - centre left (good), pro europe (good), anti-nanny state (good)
Green party - centre left (good), green (good), enviro-maniacs (not good)
UKIP - Just no.
Respect - Anti war (good), socialist (bad)
BNP - Just No
Well you're never going to find me voting for BNP or UKIP so it looks like the Liberal Democrats represent me the most _________________ "Sex: breakfast of champions" - James Hunt |
