|
|
Hi,
I am experiencing some problems with gnome when I enable Xinerama.
When I attempt to enable Xinerama, it works but since my monitors are different resolutions only half of the screen is shown on the monitor with the smaller resolution. This second monitor is nvidia 8200 hdmi, the driver version i'm running is 190.42. Also there is no audio when through the hdmi, yes the iec958 box is unmuted. I'm new to gentoo but i have used linux for a while now, so thanks for the help.
here is my Xorg.conf |

you need a metamodes for both resolution and a panning value of the lowest screen.
as
"Metamode" "highestres, lowestres@highestres"
like
"Metamode" "1024x768, 800x600@1024x768" |
