Anyone else having this problem? Images such as "New Topic", "PM" etc. aren't displaying. I'm having no other issues with images outside the forums.

Also, on the 'statistics' page, smilies are not converted to images. They look like regular characters.

Nope -- works great for me on Moz 1.0 and Konqueror. What browser are you using?

Galeon 1.2.5. Suddenly earlier today, they stopped displaying, and only on the Gentoo forums. Other phpbb forums don't have this issue. I've restarted Galeon, but haven't tried anything else. Looks like it is an issue with my browser if nothing changed in the forums.

Forums haven't changed today that I'm aware of. I certainly haven't changed anything and I don't think Nitro's been working on them today, either.

I did add three lines to the subSilver style sheet, but that was on Friday. If it's been working fine for you on Saturday and part of Sunday, then that's not the problem.

EDIT: fixed link. sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. :)

Yeah, just started this morning. Incidentally, your link is actually a 'quote' which takes the user to a filled out quote/post.

Also, do the images display if you call them directly?

No, that and the fact that images work elsewhere is the puzzling part. I'm wondering if a botched cookie or cache could be an issue.

EDIT: My installation of Mozilla is unaffected.

EDIT 2: Just because I find this intriguing, in your link I can see the avatars for dioxmat and phong.

Sounds alot like a caching issue. You said Moz is unaffected? I'd point at your cache.

At least for the time being, all is working again. Removing the cache didn't help. I removed the cookies.txt file, that didn't seem to help. Using the editor to selectively remove cookies didn't help (I essentially removed them all, just not all at once). However, in ~/.galeon/mozilla/galeon (where the cookies.txt file is) there was a cookperm.txt file. Removing it seemed to do the trick.
