Hi,
I would like some help installing Gentoo on my Vaio P.
Name: Sony VAIO P
Processor: Intel® Z530 (1.6GHz) processor
Screen: 8” 1600×768 Widescreen
RAM: 2GB
HDD: SSD 64GB
Graphics: Intel GMA 500 Integrated Graphics
Wireless: Intel 5300 802.11 a/b/g/n
When I boot off the Gentoo Boot CD (latest 2010 version) using an external DVD drive, it seem to boot OK... But when I try to prepare the disk it seem that a driver is not loaded in so I'm unable to find the SSD (i.e. its not mapped to a hdX or sdX in /dev)?
Can anyone help...?
