a long shot, but try re-emerging your automake
emerge automake |

Maybe an old version of autoconf is used This is a shot in the dark, since the correct autoconf should be picked up.
Try: Code: | export WANT_AUTOCONF_2_5=1 |
and then emerge kde again. _________________ There's someone in my head but it's not me - Pink Floyd |

The problem is with the rpm ebuild, not kde-cvs.
rpm is for kdeadmin (kpackage - managing rpm packages). Otherwise it is not needed for kde. That shouldn't stop you from trying kde-cvs.
You can take 2 routes:
1. emerge everthing without kdeadmin. e.g:
Code: | emerge kdebase kdenetwork kdemultimedia kdeutils |
you can place there any kdepackage you like (arts and kdelibs will be included automatically).
2. edit kdeadmin's ebuild and remove the rpm references. kdeadmin will build without support for rpm.
I think an rpm is needed in USE flags, AFAIK no such flag exist. _________________ There's someone in my head but it's not me - Pink Floyd |
